Colorado Northwestern Community College (CNCC) is proud to announce the launch of its new Radiologic Technology Program, designed to provide students with the knowledge and hands-on experience necessary to pursue a successful career in medical imaging. This innovative program, beginning in the fall 2025 semester, will offer an Associate of Applied Science degree in Radiologic Technology, qualifying graduates to sit for national or state certification exams and begin working in the radiography field.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Radiologic Technology Program at CNCC will be delivered over five semesters, including a summer semester dedicated to internships at healthcare facilities across Northwestern Colorado. Students will spend half of their time in the classroom, where they will engage in didactic coursework, and the other half gaining real-world experience at local healthcare organizations, where they will perform radiographic imaging procedures on actual patients.<\/span><\/p>\n

Those who graduate from the program will become a valuable member of a healthcare team by contributing to the treatment and evaluation of disease in the specialty of medical imaging,\u201d said Jade Bruchez Radiologic Technology Program Lead Faculty.<\/span><\/p>\n

The program is open to students who apply and are accepted through the program application process. Prerequisites are required and must be completed before beginning the program in their first fall semester. Below are the radiologic technology program pre-requisites. These pre-requisites can be completed at both the CNCC Rangely or Craig campus, allowing flexibility to students interested in other opportunities each campus provides.<\/span><\/p>\n
